Special Requirements: Duty belt, pistol, holster, 3-5 magazines wraparound eye and ear protection

This course is a fast paced and aggressive shooting course to enhance the skill and confidence of shooters in the event that deadly force must be used to save lives. Survival Shooting teaches shooters how to react and deploy their pistol quickly and accurately against and armed adversary while maximizing available protection. The class uses live-fire drills combined with instruction on both the psychology and physiology of shooting defensively. Topics include:

• Single & multiple target ID
  
• Shooting, reloading and movement from cover
  
• Advanced firing positions
  
• Timed fire from the ready position and holster
  
• Reactive speed
  
• Firing behind cover to engage multiple targets
